Leap of Faith

After I finished my teacher training for yoga I taught within the week of getting home. I was proud of not procrastinating and getting out there.

Now I find myself being encouraged by family and friends to date again. Not necessarily find a long-term heavy romance but companionship.

The champion of this cause is my ex-husband. He feels I have climbed Everest in the last 10 months and wants me to progress.

His simple advice for dating is take it slow, take it on your terms, but most of all enjoy it. So I’m going to be open about dating but I’m not seeking it. Mainly, I don’t want to lose confidence or suppress the sociable nature I have.

Wish me luck, fellow bloggers!

  1. Good luck. I think it’s good to take it slowly. No need to do more than go for a walk or a kayak paddle or coffee and a movie. I’m proud of you for pushing your boundaries. I just recently started teaching a class on writing at a local community college. My students may not get much out of it, but I am.

    1. That’s great. I’m facing so many new things this year and each o e has been more rewarding than the last. Never stop growing, that’s my mantra at the moment.
