Recently I’ve picked up the crochet hook and yarn again. I practised my basic stitches, read some books on the topic (naturally) and followed a few YouTube videos.
Here are the results:
Now I’ve progressed to reading patterns and understanding them and my current scarf project isn’t looking too shabby.
I feel a great sense of achievement from learning new stitches and patterns and find the whole activity very relaxing. I’m glad I didn’t give up when I ran into difficulties and am looking forward to showing off more of my work.
These are beautiful! 🙂

Thank you. It’s awful that when I look at them I see the imperfections, but I’m still crocheting so it’s not affecting me.

Great job! I wish I could do something, anything! with my hands but they are unwilling!

Years ago when I learnt to crochet, my stitches looked like a series of unfortunate knots. I’ve almost given up trying a few times but perseverance has finally led me to the stage where I can almost believe I know what I’m doing.

Beautiful work! So lovely. You have a knack for it! Pretty soon you’ll be writing patterns of you own :).

Thank you, I find it very relaxing, but I’m not sure I’m creative enough to write my own patterns.
