On her way to her first day at work as a substitute teacher, Grace Ellery witnesses a shooting and its only the quick thinking of local cardiologist, Sam that prevents her from being injured herself. However, the shooter is on a mission and he isn’t done with Grace or Sam, can he be stopped before he gets to them both?
This really easy to read thriller was engaging and quick, whilst also establishing the basics of an enduring characters that I would love to read again. The small town of Murray the story is set in sounds charming and definitely worth another visit.
I am not a big romance reader or fan but the romance in this one wasn’t cringeworthy and I found myself rooting for things to work out for Grace.
A chilling read but one with a feel good factor.
I read this a while ago, quite enjoyed it.
