Book Review: Where The Memories Lie by Sibel Hodge

Olivia Tate, wife, mother, part time practice nurse and dutiful daughter-in-law is alarmed when her father-in-law, Tom, suffering from worsening Alzheimers talks of a missing person and of killing someone. Unable to ignore her conscience, she investigates further, but when his claims are supported with irrefutable evidence it threatens to tear apart her close-knit family. Torn between finding out what happened to her teenage bestfriend and protecting her family, Olivia has some difficult decisions to make.

I was totally hooked by this tense and gripping thriller, which was very plausible making it a very good thriller indeed. Olivia is very likeable as a character, whether you agree with her actions or not and the constant whodunit suspicion over most of the family will have you guessing as it feints in one direction and then leads you in another.

Gripping right to the very end, this is one read thriller fans definitely should not miss. This book is available to read for free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers.
