Book Review: The Blissfully Dead (A Detective Lennon Thriller Book 2) by Louise Voss and Mark Edwards

DI Patrick Lennon returns in this second psychological thriller novel, set in the world of boy band fandom. OnTarget are a pop phenomenon but when one of their more ardent fans is found dead in  hotel room the band and those around them are suspects. However, the fans themselves are a complicated and tumultuous community, where backstabbing and jealousy run rife and are disseminated with extreme effect by social media tools.

I really enjoyed reading the DI Lennon as the detective has depth and his personal life is just as compelling as the cases he works on, making him an interesting copper to read.

As always with the Voss/Edwards partnership there are twists, turns and misdirection until the dark heart of truth is finally reached. This book can be read as a stand alone too and is available to read for free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers.
