Book Review: Stone Secrets by Cory Toth

I came across this horror read after searching Kindle Unlimited on Amazon for horror titles.

Carter VanDusen, a detective in the Poughkeepsie PD is called to a scene of crime where the bodies of four teenagers is found crushed by a bulldozer. Whilst at the  scene he observes a troubled teenager, whom he has a hunch knows more about what happened. Realising his one-time high school sweetheart, now an English teacher at the local high school knows the teenagers and in particular his potential witness/suspect, Carter tries to protect her, but what exactly is going on in this town that resulted in these horrific deaths?

A reasonably short crime/horror read that is driven by the character of Carter VanDusen at a relatively quick pace with an interesting twist at the end.

Stone Secrets is available to read for free to Kindle Unlimited Subscribers.
