Book Review: Home By The Sea by Shyreen Tyler

A writer decides to intern at a psychiatric facility to research schizophrenia and becomes concerned with possible patient abuse, but not everything or everyone is as they seem.

I don’t often read short stories but this one was intriguing and made it easy for me to get invested in the story early on. I did not see the twist coming but my only criticism is that the last 10-15% of the book felt rushed and there could have been a bit more character development particularly for the doctor and nurses, however I recommend this relatively short but compelling read.
