Book Review: Damaged Goods: A Detective Inspector White Caper (DI White Mysteries Book 1) by Jack Everett & David Coles

Detective Inspector Stewart White joins the force in Leeds and picks up a case of a serial murderer who kills with his bare hands. However, the trail of bodies start from over the Atlantic and DI white finds himself heading a team to stop a formidable opponent, Robert Cleghorn. Cleghorn has quite a past but a broken mind, can DI White stop him before he kills again?

I found this book absolutely electrifying. The action was brisk and riveting and the suspense intriguing. Two opposing characters well built and established. DI white is likeable and a man of planning and action, he didn’t read like the young ambitious, fast tracked policeman he first appears to be on paper. I look forward to unravelling more of his character in a future book. This a testosterone packed thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Electrifying transatlantic crime thriller, with compelling characters.
