Book Review: Destiny’s Anvil by Steven Wells Hicks

When Attorney General, Will Guidry sees an opportunity to become a senator he turns to his best friend and election advisor Tucker Callahan and his family for election advise, support and a lot of money, however, Will does not take it well when he is knocked back on all counts.

Destiny’s Anvil is a political/legal thriller set in Louisiana which kept me up reading all night. Narrated from the point of view of Carter Callahan, Tucker’s brother, I was gripped by the story almost immediately and the twists, turns and suspense kept me totally mesmerised until the following morning when I finished the book.

I laughed out loud during the jokes and sighed during the multiple tragedies in this novel. A definite must read for thriller fans. This book is available to read for free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers.
