Seasonal Book Review: Haunt by Chris Child

This seventy-seven pence, short story had been on my wishlist since Christmas last year and the urge to read something Seasonal, that is not a romance or epic took my fancy, so I purchased this.

This is my first book from this author and Haunt is a modern day, short homage to Dickens’ The Christmas Carol. It is entertaining easy to fall into and although predictable and not breaking any new ground, is a delightful Seasonal read. I enjoyed it enough to select another by Chris Child and will be reviewing that book in the New Year.

So if you’re still looking to capture that Christmas spirit and do not feel in a mood to plough through something dated, this might be your cup of tea.

This book, and others by Chris Child, are available to read for free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers.
