Review
I found the premise of this book intriguing. A man who has properties in his blood to cure AIDS and cancer. I found the science adequately enthraling but was irritated by the need of the author to describe fashion and what people are wearing superfluously at key points of the story. I didn’t particularly like Rory Chambers but found him interesting enough to keep reading. I found his appearance at the Oscars out of place but this is set in LA after all. This high octane thriller entertains but didn’t engage me scientifically, which would be appealing to most lay readers I suppose.
The book gets more gruesome as you read it and the cliffhanger is chilling.
I hope to catch the second and third parts of this thriller to see what becomes of Rory.
