Today was my first weigh in at Slimming World. After much stress the night before and filling in a food diary all week. I arrived and checked in to find I had lost 3 lbs. I was delighted as its better than nothing considering the huge overhaul in our eating habits. For me getting to my first half stone achievement is the current goal.
Although I have been generally more active In the week I have not set aside time to formally boost my cardiovascular rate. I began this week by walking back from the meeting which was a 30 minute walk. Now I just need to repeat this twice more this week in order to fulfil the criterion of exercising 3 times a week.
The meetings will need getting used to and I hope next week to do just as well but nature isn’t linear so the most I can hope for is no major disaster. I feel encouraged and will continue to take ownership of my health this week with healthier food choices and more physical activity.
