Book Review: The Santa Klaus Murder by Mavis Doriel Hay

This 1935 tale tells us about a family gathering that results in the murder of the esteemed patriarch Sir Osmond Melbury. With a family full of suspects with motives to kill, the guests also come under suspicion as Chief Constable Colonel Halstock decides to head up the team investigating the death of his old friend.

A well told tidy mystery that is a British classic and a quick easy read. If your reading is prone to interruption like mine is during the festive period then this might be the ideal read to help you through. The Book has a handy list of characters in the front and a map of the ground floor to help you get to grips with the technical aspects of the story.

A festive and entertaining read. This book is available to read for free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers.
