Book Review: Never Smile At Strangers (Grand Trespass book 1) by Jennifer Jaynes

I was given a review copy of this book by Booklover Catlady Publicity in exchange for an honest review.

This psychological suspense thriller starts out with the disappearance of local girl Tiffany Perron in a small Southern town, Grand Trespass. Last seen by her best friend, Haley Landry and her on/off boyfriend Charles Johnson, the investigation barely gets underway until the next disappearance of a young girl. There is a serial killer living among the town folk, he’s disturbed and spiralling out of control, but who is he?

I was absolutely blown away by this thriller and could not put it down. For a psychological thriller the characters were compelling and well developed, I cared about Haley and Erica, both young girls living in a small town, both affected by the atrocities of our malevolent antagonist. Erica was another well developed character whom I cared about and her story was just as consuming as Haley’s.

The scene, and charming southern backdrop was well depicted in this well paced novel. Thriller fans miss this one at your own peril. This book is available to read for free to Kindle Unlimited Subscribers.
